Shusmo Games

Shusmo Games is a mobile game studio. We develop and publish our own casual and idle titles for iOS and Android, including Idle Block Miner, 3D48 and Baby Seat: Driving Sim. Our games are free to play and are funded by in-app purchases and in-app advertising.

Our business model

We earn revenue in two ways, and we spend money to acquire players:

In-app purchases — players buy items and remove ads. Payments are processed by the Apple App Store and Google Play.
In-app advertising — we show ads inside our own games and are paid by ad networks and mediation platforms.
User acquisition — we buy advertising on ad platforms to bring new players to our games. This is our largest cost.

Whether a title is profitable depends entirely on comparing what a player earns us against what it cost to acquire that player. Those two numbers arrive from different companies, in different currencies, on different reporting calendars.

What ShuHub is

ShuHub is our internal analytics and profit-and-loss platform, built and operated by Shusmo Games for Shusmo Games. It is a private, login-protected web application used by our own small team. It is not a product we sell, resell, or make available to other companies, and it does not manage advertising on anyone else's behalf.

ShuHub reads our own reporting data from each platform we use, converts it to a single currency, and presents revenue, advertising cost and return on ad spend side by side so we can decide which titles and which campaigns to keep funding.

How we use the Google Ads API

We use the Google Ads API for one purpose: to read the daily cost of our own user-acquisition campaigns into ShuHub, so that advertising spend can be compared against the revenue those players generate.

Our own account only. We query the Google Ads account that Shusmo Games owns and funds. We do not access, manage, or report on any third party's advertising account, and we do not act as an agency or a reseller.
Read-only. ShuHub issues reporting queries only. It never creates, edits, pauses or removes campaigns, budgets, bids, audiences or creatives. There is no write path to any advertising platform anywhere in the system, and this is enforced as an architectural rule in our codebase.
Which calls we make. Reporting queries against GoogleAdsService.SearchStream. One query retrieves daily campaign cost, impressions, clicks and conversions; a second reads the account's currency and reporting time zone so figures can be converted correctly.
Frequency. A scheduled pull a few times a day, one day of data at a time, plus occasional backfills when we add a new report.
Who sees it. Only Shusmo Games staff, through a login-protected internal dashboard. The data is not published, resold, or shared onward.

If any budget guidance is ever shown in ShuHub, it is advisory text for our own team to read and act on manually inside Google Ads. Nothing is ever written back automatically.
